Our model is simple and straightforward, when a candidate presents us with a sensible business idea, we offer financing and mentoring to make that idea a reality. YBA cares less about experience and credit scores than about the strength and sincerity of a young entrepreneur’s vision.

Are you passionate about your great business ideas?

Or, do you simply want to be your own boss?

We want to work with you if you are 18 to 35 years old, a legal resident of the U.S., committed to starting your own business, and cannot gain access to start up funds elsewhere.

We will vet your business plan or help you write one, ensure you have a grounding in basic business mechanics or help you get training, provide a loan of up to $25,000 and match you with a one-on-one business mentor.

YBA values your life experiences both business related and in the community at large.

Youth Business Mentors are coaches, they meet regularly with their entrepreneur to listen to and encourage them, providing guidance and arranging specialist support when needed.

YBA will train you as a mentor and match you with an entrepreneur based on a series of important characteristics. YBA provides a structured environment for these relationships to be meaningful and to thrive.

If you work with young people, are involved in microenterprise development or small business finance we believe that YBA can be an important partner to help leverage your mission. We will serve as an adjunct to the important work that you are doing by sharing the support of your clients or serving your clients for a period of time until they can fully take advantage of your organization.
